I've had a couple of supplies from my etsy shop just hanging around that I wanted to get out of the way and use up. I've wanted to make a new wreath badly. I seriously might have a wreath addiction I'm so drawn to them.

So I went to friendly neighborhood Michael's and bought this
wreath form it is about 16 inches- I wanted a bigger base because I think wreaths need to be substantial and proportionate when they are on your door-
The wreath form is also round the whole way around instead of just round on the front this gives the yarn a cleaner look when its on. This yarn a kelly green and robins egg blue was also from Michael's

So step one was to unwrap some of the yarn into a little bundle so it would be easier to wrap in and out of the wreath. Then I glue gunned the yarn to the wreath form.
I then started to loosly wrap the yarn. This made the process faster than doing it tightly the whole time. Id wrap about 8 times then pull the string and push it backward. I wrapped until I liked the amount of yarn I think looked good then started with my other color.
I think the white showed up really well against the color. Then I placed the bow and the pattern flower directly across from each other so they were balanced then added on where things looked good and then attached the netting and shank buttons.
Then I centered it inside this twig wreath to give the wreath a more autumn feeling. Im thinking about interchangeable pieces hmmmm :)
I love it It's so my personality and was inspired by a box of crayons I had in my church bag last week. So I challenge you to make one and add some brightness and creativity to your door
or if you dont want to make one you can always visit my etsy shop
This one is for sale.
IM IN LOVE!
