Reupholstering an antique chair

from this....
to this...
My sister in law Brooke and I worked on this chair all day today-reupholstering it- painting it- antiquing it-for the whole story go here. I'm pretty sure we might put together a tutorial on how we did it. Once you start it's a lot easier than you think it will be. It's just being brave enough to try. The tufting actually turned out to be one of the funnest parts to do and watch transform. so for about 40 bucks we made this junkyard find a gem.

What a super cute blog. I'm now following. I figure I'll either get truly inspired or totally green (not environmentally, either)

Looking forward to more and to seeing you at my blog, also.

What a fun chair... I love damask! It kind of reminds of the printed damask on your blog page.

I. Love. This!

I was just looking at a set of two wing back chairs on craigs list with visions of a awesome re-uphostered project...but I was a little scared to attempt it. I would love you two post the tutorial on how you did it!

Hey Girls, why don't you take it on the Road. I've got a chair that I want to do but my fear is stopping me. You have to do the video. Please?
